For participants without any prior knowledge.

In this course participants learn the basic skills to communicate in hotels and restaurants.

After this course participants can welcome a guest, fill out an application form, deal with reservation requests, react to problems, give information about the facility, engage with the wishes of customers, take telephone calls, give recommendations, have small talk and lots more.

German in Tourism 2 „Extent“ (Beginners)

Extend

For participants with very basic knowledge.

In this course participants extend their basic knowledge of the language in the hotel and restaurant area. After this course the participants can have conversations in the restaurant with colleagues as well as guests, recommend activities, name different sights, give directions, present daytrip programs, offer help with different problems, react to complaints, explain hotel bills, react to praise and criticism and lots more

German in Tourism 3 „Professionalize“ (Advanced)

Professionalize

For participants with basic knowledge.

In this course participants professionalize their knowledge in the hotel and restaurant area. After this course the participants have the skills to use the language professionally in different areas: at the reception, all around the kitchen, have telephone calls, reservations, cleaning, orders, complaints and criticism, give information, bills and payments, applications and lots more

Methods

• The primary goal is building communication skills and working towards overcoming inhibitions in using the language. Participants learn new structures through the use of examples.
• Grammar and vocabulary will not only be memorized or translated but will be introduced with examples by the teachers and then be learned together.
• Through role-plays, listening comprehensions and real life and work situations the participants will learn speaking the language fast and effectively by already using vocabulary in the learning process.
• Our teachers will correct and motivate the participants and help them reach their goal of learning the language.
